Alentus UK offers three ways of providing e-mail to you – POP3, IMAP and SMTP – depending on the size of your business and your requirements. We also provide tools to scan your e-mail for spam (SpamCleanse) and viruses (VirusCleanse), thereby ensuring your e-mail system is not vulnerable to external abuse.

POP3 e-mail

POP3 is typically suitable for customers with up to 20 mailboxes per domain name. Your e-mail is collected from our reliable load-balanced mail servers. The standard quota is 30MB and your POP3 e-mail is also available by Webmail.

IMAP e-mail

IMAP allows clients to create and store folders for your e-mail on our mail servers. This package is suitable for mobile workers who require ongoing access to new and saved emails. The standard quota is 30MB and IMAP is also available by Webmail.

SMTP e-mail

Clients with 20 users or more often maintain their own mail server on their premises. These clients can have their e-mail delivered by SMTP.
